First Date Red Flags

Dating Red Flags
Hey angels! If you're an avid follower of our Instagram or more specifically our trash talk Tuesdays then you'll know that we love a good gossip especially where dating is concerned. So on that note we've picked our all of our ultimate dating red flags so you can have the best time possible when dating and most importantly stay safe.
.
Shows up late
This has got to be an ultimate red flag. If your date shows up late without a decent excuse, it's a no from us. Fair enough it happens, you get stuck in traffic, your train gets cancelled but showing up late without a decent excuse or even an apology? Ew.
.
Hasn't put effort into their appearance .
Ok so your date has finally showed up. You're all dressed up hair and makeup done, your new DMZ dress on, you look stunning because of course you want to put your best foot forward. Your date shows up with creased trousers, a stain on his top and a jacket he's clearly just picked up off the floor. Gross. We're not saying they have to show up in a perfectly pressed three piece suit.
But if your date isn't willing to just put in a bit of effort to tidy themselves up for your first date, that is a walking red flag right there. Get someone who matches the amount of effort.
.
Only talks about themselves/ doesn't ask you any questions
The main purpose of dating and going on dates is to get to know another person. If your date is only talking about themselves and shows very little interest in getting to know you, that's a waste of your time. Definite red flag.
.
Boring
If your humour and your dates humor or general conversation isn't matching up the first time you meet that probably isn't going to change. If on the first date you just aren't clicking and having a laugh together then don't be too hopeful of a magical connection at a later date. If you're not vibing you're not vibing.
.
Bad manners towards you or staff
This is such a red flag for me. If your date cant display basic manners towards staff that's a no from me. Even if there being perfectly nice to you, if they can't be polite to everyone they meet whats not to say they won't be be rude to your family and friends. Positive vibes only please.
.
Super picky eater
Ok so this red flag is more of a personal ick. All I know is that they wouldn't be getting a second date from me. I know that everyone has different tastes but if you're an adult getting chicken nuggets and chips on a first date, I'm off.
.
Asks too many personal questions
Like I said first dates are all about getting to know each other, asking where the other person is from, their interests and other polite questions are all good. When this turns into a red flag for me is when the questions become a bit too personal. If your date is blatantly ignoring social boundaries then that  is a definite red flag.
.
No socials
TBH if someone had no socials they wouldn't be getting a first date from me to begin with. No judgement if Instagram isn't your thing but having no social media is a bit of a red flag. Especially if you're meeting somebody you don't know. Checking their online profile is a must for your own safety.
.
They're too forward
Kind of tying in with your date asking too many personal questions, if your date can not respect your boundaries then get rid. Asking for a kiss when it's clearly not the vibe, trying to extend the date when you've said no, trying to invite themselves to your house if you feel like your date is being a bit too pushy they're definitely not the one. Get yourself home and block.
